Short term bonds will cost in the order of 1.2% of the deposit amount. The bond is generally issued by an insurance company.

Bonds are also used sometimes in off the plan purchases. Longer term bonds are more expensive. If you are considering buying off the plan, call me to discuss the pros and cons of a bond for your particular scenario.
